About
Dr. Ümit Yazman was born in Ankara in 1965. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education at TED Ankara College, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Bakırköy Mental Health Hospital.
He then completed his post-residency fellowship in addiction prevention and treatment at Johns Hopkins University, where he was accepted on a scholarship. He continued his work at the University of Virginia's Center for Mind and Human Interaction, followed by research and studies at the University of Pittsburgh's CEDAR Center and the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute.
He currently maintains his practice at his private clinic in Levent, Istanbul.
